Instead of using only cross stitches, this little freebie will give you the pleasure of stitching with special stitches (see diagram).

Because handdyed silk is being used, remember to finish each stitch before making another one.

All stitches are made with one ply of thread, except for the satin stitches of the leaves which are stitched with two plies.

The center of the purple flowers are being stitched with the yellow triple rice stitch, the center of the yellow flowers are being stitched with the purple rice stitch.

The same applies to the eyelets, between the purple flowers, use a yellow eyelet, between the yellow flowers, use a purple eyelet.

In the center of the whole design use a button of a purple daisy, button in the top right hand corner is the yellow butterfly. Both buttons are from Just another Button Company.
